Ayman S. Ashour serves as Chairman of the Board and CEO for Identive Group, which was formed in January 2010 following the merger of SCM Microsystems and Bluehill ID, a Swiss technology company focused on RFID, which he founded in 2007. Ayman is a recognized expert in the security and RFID industries. His professional experience includes roles as Principal of Newton International Management, a strategy consulting firm focused on the security and identification technology industry; COO and CEO of the Identification Technology business of ASSA ABLOY AB, which includes well-known brands such as Sokymat, HID and Indala; and Divisional Managing Director, Asia Pacific region for Williams Plc, where he was responsible for Chubb Security, Kidde & Yale brands and managed the global operations of Guardforce International and the Chubb Physical Security Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Manchester in the U.K. He is currently an Adjunct Lecturer for the MBA program at the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University in Boston.
