Identive to Present NFC Vision for College Campuses at PacWest SFS 2012 Conference
SANTA ANA, Calif., May 7, 2012 – Identive Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: INVE; Frankfurt: INV), a provider of products and services for the identification, security and RFID industries, will discuss how universities and colleges can implement near field communication (NFC) technology in the campus environment at the PacWest SFS 2012 Conference for professional development in higher education in La Jolla, California on May 16, 2012. Company representatives will present “Social Media, Mobility and More,” an overview of how NFC technology can help deliver information and services on campus in the way students prefer to receive it – on their mobile phones.
During the presentation, David Callaghan, director of Professional Services for Identive’s U.S. Multicard ID solutions integration business, will review the technologies and security goals driving campuses to consolidate multiple disparate services into a single smart credential. He will also discuss the use of contactless technology platforms for student identification and other campus services. David Holmes, vice president of Mobility & NFC Solutions for Identive, will discuss how NFC tags, posters and applications can help colleges and universities deliver enhanced campus information and services with the simple tap of an NFC-enabled smartphone.
